We know that the practice of inclusive leadership leads to more innovative, high-performing, and effective teams, but many of our best efforts fall short. In this course you'll explore how simply understanding your own implicit biases, mindsets, beliefs, and behaviors is not enough. You'll analyze which leadership actions help sustain shifts in team values, beliefs, and behaviors needed for diversity and equity.Over four intensive days, you'll examine the challenge of leading inclusively from “the outside in.” You'll work through your own current, real-life inclusive leadership challenge, analyzing it from the levels of organization, team, and self. Each skill and tool you'll consider in this course is designed to deepen your understanding of the complex challenges of diversity and equity, how we ourselves are part of those challenges, and what actions we can take to we to move toward diverse, inclusive cultures.
