This workshop introduces participants to the principles of inclusive visual design and will help them adopt a point of view that is broader than Section 508 compliance. Participants will learn how to apply the principles to documents, presentations, and other materials to ensure effective and accessible outcomes.
Participants will leave this workshop with an understanding of their role in creating inclusive and accessible materials and hands-on experience applying the principles of inclusive visual design.
All Federal employees are welcome to attend this workshop. It is meant for people who are responsible for producing visual materials and have not been formally trained in designing for accessibility.
