Overview

This course provides federal HR specialists and HR assistants knowledge related to the preparation, processing, and documentation of personnel actions for federal employees using Standard Forms 50 and 52. These forms are written request and documentation of a personnel action that affects someone’s position or pay.

This course will address the following federal HR topics:

  • When and how to appropriately use Standard Form 52, Request for Personnel Action (SF-52)
  • When and how to appropriately use Standard Form 50, Notification of Personnel Action (SF-50)
  • Rules, regulations, and steps involved in completing personnel actions.
