Overview

Every day you are persuading someone or someone is trying to persuade you. Learn persuasion techniques to help “sell” yourself and your ideas. Let’s face it – if you have a great idea, but can’t convince anyone, you are going to be frustrated.

Persuasion is a useful skill in all areas of life, whether personal and professional. Besides, you are already being persuaded or trying to persuade whether you realize it or not – learn how to be more effective in practicing this art!

During this half-day course, you will:

  • Understand the difference between persuasion and manipulation
  • Become aware of “automatic responses”
  • Learn the 6 “Keys to Persuasion” and how they may be used in a work environment

How You Will Benefit

By taking this general information and applying it in both your personal and professional life, you will be better able to be “heard” and get action on your requests. By using these principles consistently, you may even gain “influence,” which means you don’t even have to persuade anymore!

Who Should Attend

This material is appropriate for all grade levels, supervisors, and non-supervisory employees.
