As a new HR specialist in the public sector, you may wonder how your role impacts the whole of government. How is HR work is conducted within the Federal Government? Who are the key players? What laws and regulations govern HR activities?
HR practitioners play a critical role in Federal HR management, advising managers and supervisors and offering resources on recruiting, hiring, employee performance, conduct related issues or concerns, retention, and more.

This course will give you an overview of different agencies, organizations, and personnel in Federal HR, as well as the different disciplines of HR across government.
