SES Onboarding Forum: Leading to Deliver Greater Public Value

Schedule

  • May 17, 2019 at U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Lower Level (Madison) Auditorium, 600 Dulany Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, Tuition: $695  (#24178)   REGISTER

Overview

The Senior Executive Service was established to “…ensure that the Executive Management of the Government of the United States is responsive to the needs, policies, and goals of the Nation and is otherwise of the highest quality”. This means that Senior Executives must provide the spark for generating breakthroughs in performance while simultaneously managing the core mission and operational capabilities.

As a new Federal Senior Executive, how do you position your organization or program to deliver greater value to the public when you are in the midst of critical change and reform initiatives, fiscal challenges, and low public trust and confidence in the federal bureaucracy? How do you recognize what constitutes public value for a given initiative, agency or program? What leadership strategies can you use to reimagine how you operate and engage with customers and stakeholders to achieve enterprise priorities? And when you are pursuing new ideas to improve outcomes for the American people, how do you align, sometimes transform, the myriad digital, financial, human, information and other resource systems to execute the vision?

Leading to Deliver Greater Public Value is a forum to help new Senior Executives increase their capacity to integrate citizen and consumer focused innovation to address a broad spectrum of enterprise leadership challenges..

How You Will Benefit

This Forum will provide new Federal Senior Executives with the opportunity to:

  • Discuss how successful enterprise leaders consistently re-imagine and implement new and innovative ways to deliver public value

  • Explore how to harness strategic and operational capabilities (including human, financial and information resources) to deliver the desired results
  • Collaborate with peers and experienced Federal Senior Executives to expand networks and apply insights and tips
